People with Offline Gmail enabled: The Gmail Motifier will not work with offline Gmail enabled - Google Gears, which is installed, breaks the extension. I haven't been able yet to figure out how to work around it.

If the unread count looks wrong, do a Gmail search for "is:unread" and check if you have archived unread mail.

If you have a Gmail hosted email, simply use username@hosteddomain.tld as the username in the notifier.

As of 0.6, Gmail Notifier now supports checking multiple accounts at the same time.

Gmail Notifier stores all passwords in your browser's password manager (listed under chrome://gm-notifier/ as the host). It defaults to using https to connect to Gmail unless you check an option in preferences.
