Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival honored at Cascade Blues Association's Muddy Awards

The Cascade Blues Association recently presented its Muddy Award for "Best Northwest Blues Event" to the 2011 Safeway Waterfront Blues Festival.

In addition, Buddy Guy's performance at the festival won "Best Performance of the Year," Blues Cruise sponsors Amanda Gresham and Barbara Hammerman of Delta Music Experience received the "Back What You Believe In" award and Jeff Cota, the festival's Miller Stage manager, received the "Hurley Award."
