Codigo Cube is quite a simple game really. You roll the die filled with QR codes, snap it with a barcode scanner on your phone with web access and it’ll load a question for you to answer. The Codigo Cube website will keep track of the points for right or wrong answers which means all you need to do to play is scan and try and answer questions. Each side is a different category and is color coded, so you may know you’re going to get an Entertainment question (for example) but you never know which one until it loads.

We’ve all got our favorite Legend of Zelda. Mine will always and forever be Wind Waker. Sailing that ship around provided a feeling of exploration I have rarely seen matched in a videogame. The art styles have changed dramatically over the years and from game to game, but luckily for us they’re always unique.
Today we have a total of 8 wallpapers for you to download and enjoy, from all over the Zelda timeline. And a few pictures with a triforce in it for good measure!
Just click the images to get at the full size, then save accordingly!
BTW, we have a ton Perpetually Geeky wallpapers just waiting to be downloaded over at our Facebook page. You should totally visit us and give us a “like!”

I feel like most people agree that Valentine’s Day is sort of a sham. I mean, it is. Luckily my wife and I both fall into that category and I know I don’t have to go jumping through hoops on some arbitrary day to make her happy.
However! That doesn’t mean I’m a man with a heart of stone. I still get a little choked up when I think about when I proposed to my wife (in front of Cinderella’s Castle in Walt Disney World which should come as ZERO surprise to people that listen to the show or know me at all). I also for some reason tend to get the water running out of my face when watching videos of other people’s proposals, even more so when there’s a nerd slant to the whole thing.
Take this one here. Ascension: Chronicle of the Godslayer is a deck building game that we’ve previously reviewed. Well, this couple likes the game so much that the guy contacted Gary Games (makes of Ascension) and got them to make a super special card to help him propose. They obliged and he slipped it in the game and filmed the thing for the rest of us to watch!
Kudos to Alan and his fiance, and to Gary Games for helping to make it a reality! You can real more about it and see the card itself here. Pretty awesome stuff.

I have come to the realization that I sometimes get more excited to see one scene in a movie than the movie as a whole. For example, I could not wait to for the moment in Air Force One, when Harrison Ford gruffly commands, “Get off my plane!” I’ve seen the movie a bunch of times, but I usually endure it once more so I can savor that perfect moment of pure testosterone bliss as Harrison Ford Breaks Gary Oldman’s neck and throws him off the plane. I think I did it again with “The Grey.” I really like Liam Neeson, and the trailers for the movie seemed promising. However, it only took a brief shot at the end of the trailer of Liam Neeson breaking bottles and taping them to his hands that made me realize my life would never be complete unless I watched him punch a wolf in the face.
