Love is still in the air right? Can you scent the sweetness of Valentine's Day? Yesterday was the big day for love birds to shower their loved ones with gifts, candlelight dinner and of course affection. As for me, this year I have bought one very huge Valentine's card for my wife. So huge that I have difficulty bringing it back home yesterday using my motorbike. I believe this is the largest card I have ever bought in my entire life. LOL :D Besides the customary card, I also grabbed a stalk of rose from the florist for my wife. :)

When she came back home, she didn't notice both the card and there flower that I have placed on the bed...until she was about to rest on it. Then when she finally saw the card...she was of course shocked as I told her that I won't be buying her anything for this valentine's (I say this every year :/). She gleefully accepted her card and read it. I did buy her something. I grabbed a new purplish back cover for her phone because she loves purple. Later on the 4 of us (together with our 2 babies) went out for our Valentine's dinner.

So ho did you and your special someone celebrate this romantic day? No matter how you celebrate it, it is important to remember that love is all about the both of you; Love is always about the two of you holding hands going through all the thick and thin together without giving up. Always love you partner or spouse in the best possible manner that you can. Don't just celebrate this lovely day once in 365 days. Love him/her always for every day is Valentine's Day! :)

Gone are the days where mommies are the only ones who care about their little ones. Nowadays more and more dads are stepping up to the fore and help their wives to take care of the children. I dubbed these "men" as the TLC (Tender Loving Care) fathers and I am proud to say that I am one of them. Yes! I am a "mommy" to my 2 kids as well. I am very involved in my children's lives as I don't want to miss anything about them. I wanna be there for them, to protect them.

To me nothing is more important than my little angels (except my wife of course). I will put down anything that I am doing immediately just to answer their calls. It is a bliss to watch my two kids sleeping, playing, crying and growing...I have always believed that my kids are blessing from God and that is why I am going to do everything in my might to make sure they are well taken care of with all the love that I can shower them. Don't you feel that same?

It is my duty as a "mommy" to ensure that my kids are not only happy but also healthy as well. Hence I was shocked to know that the milk that I was feeding my kids contain a whopping 13 teaspoon of added sugars. I felt guilty about this glaring negligence of mine...then again, how was I to know that they (manufacturers) would put so much added sugars in growing up milk for babies? :( Thank goodness I realized about this after reading it in the newspaper. That is when I have decided to switch the milk that my kids are drinking.

Right now my boy is drinking his healthy growing up milk with no added sugars at all. Not only his milk is healthy, it is also highly rich in nutrients for him to be stronger, healthful and most importantly brainier. After switching to this milk, my Jordan boy has shown flashes of his potential. He might not be a genius but he is surely darn smart if you ask me. Sounds a bit far-fetching? It is not...trust me. I am going to tell you why in my upcoming post. Wanna know what milk I have switched to?

1, 2, 3....TOSSSSSSSSSSSS! Yes, toss those juicy oranges into the river! Why? Because today is Chap Goh Meh, or the 15th night of the lunar new year. So? For those uninitiated, today is D-day when the girls will find their one true love. Or what we used to believe. If you are a girl and still (desperately) looking for your Mr. Right, tonight you should get your oranges ready. Yes, not only today marks the end of our Chinese New Year celebration, but it also signifies the Chinese Valentine!

Traditionally, girls, ladies, women and old aunties would toss those oranges into a river or lake. Then they'll....you guess...make a wish for that soul mate or aka husband to appear. The event, which falls on a full moon night, will see bachelors waiting (starving) in the river or lake to catch the oranges. The person who catches an orange thrown by the young woman in the river is said to be her intended husband! War...that means their fate is in the hand of an orange? So you'll see a pack of wolves...opps...I mean eligible bachelors with their nets ready tonight!


And to make sure, their so-called potential life-partners would be able to contact them, many would write down their names and contact numbers on the oranges before tossing them into the lake where the eligible bachelors (preying horny guys) will be waiting with their enormous fishing nets in hand to scoop up those fruits! Ha :D For additional fun, other fruit such as bananas are also tossed into the lake! How about durians?


These days, the tradition is carried out in the spirit of fun with several organizations hosting these oranges-throwing event in Malaysia! I bet they are the orange suppliers huh! Just kidding. So ladies~prepare your boxes of oranges; Men~prepare you nets to scoop up the oranges. Don't miss this golden opportunity to end your single-hood ok. I hope you will be able to find your Mr. or Mrs. Right and will end up happily ever after.


P.S.: Anyway girls & ladies, please be careful okay. You'll never know who you'll meet. Just don't put yourself in a risky situation. Patience my friends, is a virtue.

So today I am going to share with you an exclusive interview between the 3 of them with the hot Julie Woon at Sunway Lagoon. It is an interesting interview where they talked about how their lives have changed for the better to be professional riders. One of them even claimed that Sepang is not challenging enough for them. Serious? Besides that do you know that one of them is ONLY 15 years old? Heck...so he doesn't have a valid driving license and yet he is blazing the tracks in competitions?
