TaskGhost^® for Windows

TaskGhost is a VBScript based task scheduling service for Windows that includes a superset of UNIX Cron syntax for trigger specification, a multi-threaded 'concurrent' VBScript interpreter, and full Win32 support for user impersonation, SMTP email, SendKeys, and FTP.

What is TaskGhost?

TaskGhost is powerful task scheduler that can be run either as an application or as a System Service. When run as a system service, TaskGhost utilizes both Domain User accounts as well as the LocalSystem account. TaskGhost fully supports synchronous, asynchronous and detached (no console) mode program execution. TaskGhost supports a superset of the UNIX V7 CRON syntax for very flexible trigger specification. TaskGhost is Windows AT command aware, and will fully administer these jobs. TaskGhost runs a multi-threaded VBScript interpreter that can manage a virtually unlimited number of concurrent 'jobs'. These jobs can either be loaded through the UI, or from an AutoRun.vbs file.
