Don't take thru airport scanners

I bought two of these before going on vacation. My husband wouldn't take his but ended up later asking me to keep his passport with mine - I just slipped one end of mine in one flap and the other end of his in the other flap. I found it useful to tuck boarding passes safely inside, too. The only negative I found was that it beeps going through airport people scanners and any hand scanners - not sure if it was the logo or the RFID material so on return I made sure I put my passport in my purse along with my shoes, etc. This is functional and well made.
