I’ve always harbored a love for photography. My father was an avid photographer, so perhaps that’s where I get my knack from...who knows? Wherever it came from, I’m grateful!

While freelancing in the film and television business for several years, my photography fell to the wayside. Then in 2000, the movie biz slowed down considerably in the area, and I found myself with a lot of time on my hands. So, bolstered by my love for animals (as well as lack of income), I started a pet care business to fill in the gaps.

After being out of the loop with the arts for a while, I started missing my creative side and that's when I picked up a camera again.
I started doing some freelance photography work about a year and a half ago and have had selected works shown from time to time in local galleries.

I particularily love photographing pets-I love their honesty and whimsy. My pet photography is in the permanent collection at Central Animal Hospital, located in downtown Savannah, GA in the Starland Arts District. I am also represented by Lanoue Film Arts in Boston, MA. Recent clients include WOMR radio, Provincetown, MA, Schmap Boston, Southern Spaces journal, and Little Theatre of Savannah.

I shoot mostly with a Leica M9 and Leica lenses. I carry my camera with me wherever I go.

rian - pretty cool candid shot, those flares look really nice too.. :)

Chris Cardelli - Fantastic photo. The monochromatic aged film treatment works so well here. The bright blast obliterates the upper corner of the image and cascades down beautifully.

Stanisław - This picture is amazing beautiful color composition that beam of light from above and the computer on your lap :) Bravo!! Have a nice day :)

rian - it’s great how you noticed that yellow leaf on top of this bare tree.. very nicely captured.. :)

Victoria/Sweden - Very nice picture!

Jamie - Yes, great catch! The yellow leaf almost looks as if it was painted into the scene.

Chris Cardelli - This really is quite nice. At first I saw the leaves as the remnants of an old lost balloon. The fact they really are leaves is so much cooler conceptually.
