The Requirements Working Group for
Real-time Extensions
for the Java (tm)Platform
The creation of this group grew out of the need to have a consensus based set of real-time requirements for Java. These requirements can then form the basis of a consensus based, Java real-time specification.
(It is not the role of this group to write such a specification.) With the release of the final version of
NIST Special Publication 500-243, Requirements for Real-time Extensions for the Java Platform: Report from the Requirements Group for Real-time Extensions for the Java Platform, the Requirements Group has met its goal. Those interested in real-time extensions for Java are actively specifying those extensions. As such, the Requirements Group is no longer active.
NIST Special Publication 500-243 Requirements for Real-time Extensions for the Java Platform: Report from the Requirement Group for Real-time Extensions for the Java Platform is available.
