The event – which took place on the 15th of July 2011 in Valencia, Spain - was designed as a one-day event entirely focused on supporting the preparation of new research proposals to be submitted in the just opened Call 8.

Taking place the same week as the INES General Assembly, NESSI Members Day represented a great opportunity to meet the Spanish key actors in the Software and Services research and development. Please check out pictures and presentations of the Day here!
 

For its fourth edition, ServiceWave will be part of the Future Internet week organised in Poznan, Poland. ServiceWave 2011 will be held from Wednesday 26/10/2011 to Friday 28/10/2011, immediately following FIA on Monday 24/10/2011 and Tuesday 25/10/2011.

NESSI annouces  the May 2011 newsletter - announcing the NESSI Members Day dedicated to preparing participation to Call 8, held on the 15th July in Valencia and the open calls for ServiceWave 2011 that close in a few weeks.

Check out all the opportunities, including the new repository of NESSI results. The newsletter can now be read as a flipping book, a new feature of the NESSI Web site launched in January 2011!
 

The on-going SRA update process which started in September 2010 , with a workshop at ICT 2010 and a half day session at ServiceWave 2010 is ended. The SRA team is proud to present the updated SRA based on all the inputs received through the online process. You can find this version and all other SRA publications in the Research Section of the NESSI websiste. 

The European Commission is expected to launch the call 8 of the ICT domain on 26/07/2011, with a target closing date of 17/01/2012. To support our members in preparing concerted proposals for this call, NESSI is preparing a set of actions to identify opportunities linked to the research directions relevant to the work programme and NESSI's Strategic Research Agenda.

We are pleased to announce that the new NESSI Web site went live on 25/01/2011. We had announced it at the end of 2010, as the second step in taking the membership survey into account. We have included a direct access to all on-going activities to which members can take part, as well as direct online management of member profiles and selection of the information channel. This evolution is hosted and implemented by NESSI partner ATC- check out the new features in detail.
