This morning at the Nokia Open Studio 2006 event in New York City, I had the chance to get a little bit of hands on time with Nokia's newest Nseries folder phone, the US bound N75.
The N75 is the first Nseries device designed specifically with the North American market in mind, and if it actually gets picked up by a US carrier, it will be the first WCDMA device Nokia will have released here as well, since the previously announced 6282 never seemed to make it to market.
A few things of note for would-be N75 owners: while it supports WCDMA/UMTS on both the 850 and 1900MHz bands, it does not support HSDPA high speed 3G data, only normal WCDMA data. Also, the device does not support A2DP Bluetooth stereo, which is a real shame. But overall, I'm still very pleased to see a Nseries device designed for North America.
