Elasz, Rose Alma

With great sadness and broken hearts we announce the death of Rose Elasz on Sunday, January 23, 2005.

Rose’s devoted husband of fifty-four years, Howard; her loving children, Carol (Steve), Marlene, Pat, Doug, Kate (Brad), Denise (Antony), and Jay (Gord); her grandchildren, Sarah, Brian, Emma, Liam, EsmÚe, Dino and Colton will miss her more than she could ever imagine. Rose will be remembered for her laugh, warmth, and giving nature, but most of all because she was the best Mom in the whole world. She grew up in the French farming community of St. Denis, SK with her parents and her siblings Irene, Wilfrid, Evelyn, Armand and Vivianne. Rose loved all of life’s celebrations. She found great joy in planning the best Christmas’ and birthdays for her family and in her later years looked forward to spending time with her husband in Mexico each winter.

Prayers will be held at St. Peter’s Catholic Church (541 Silvergrove Drive N.W.) today, January 31, 2005 at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass for Rose will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Catholic Church on Tuesday, February 1, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. with the Rev. James Hagel, Presider. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
