The family of Bev Moore wish to announce her sudden passing on Sunday, March 25, 2007 at her home in Calgary, at the age of 66 years.

Bev will be sadly missed and remembered with great affection by her family and many friends. She touched countless lives during her years in the antiques business. Her circle of friends continued to expand and even resulted in a life changing experience when she became a special Nana.

Bev was predeceased by her husband Don Moore, father Jim Hatch, stepfather Fred Barnes, mother Pearl Barnes, and brother Charles (Buzz) Hatch. Left with treasured memories are her sister Pat Rogal (Ian); brother Jim Hatch (Dolores); close sisters-in-law Margaret Hatch and Sharon Moore. She will also be fondly remembered by nephews Greg Hatch (Cathy), Scott Rogal (Nancy), and Paul Rogal (Pat); nieces Dawn Campbell (Derrick), Karen Topfer (Gary), Michelle Rudell (Kelly), and their children; as well as her extended family Cass Dittmer & Mark McCallum, and their children Muskoka, Keanna, and Zander, to whom she was ?Nana Bev?.

Time spent with Bev was always a delight. She was kind, loving, generous, funny, and so much more. We will all miss her.

Ferdinando Filippetto, beloved husband of Carmela Filippetto, of Calgary passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at the age of 72 years.

Ferdinando was born November 12, 1934 in Sala D’Istrana, Treviso, Italy. Besides his loving wife Carmela, Ferdinando is survived by his children, Lucio and Dee Filippetto, Antonietta Filippetto, Giulio and Melanie Filippetto and Elisa Filippetto all of Calgary; grandchildren, Kira, Daniella, Kiana and Cooper; brother, Rino (Licia) and their family; cousins, Battista (Mary), Roberto (Ilia) and their family, all of Calgary; brother Paolino and two sisters, Maria and Teresa and their families in Italy. He was predeceased by his parents Giovanni and Elisa Filippetto, brother Atilio and sister Pina.

Erickson, LeRoy (Lee) Alfred

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear beloved husband and father LeRoy (Lee) Erickson. Lee passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Wednesday, March 28, 2007, after a short and courageous battle with cancer at the age of 71 years.

Lee was born in Midale, SK on March 11, 1936. Following his graduation from Midale High School he married LaVonne and moved to Langley, BC. Lee returned to the Midale area in 1957 to pursue a career in the Oil and Gas Industry. He and his family moved to Calgary in 1969. Lee retired after thirty-five years, returning to Midale often.

Lee is survived by his wife LaVonne; their children Terry, Darryl (Loretta), Susan (Larry), Shari (Jim); eight grandchildren, Scott, Tara, Lindsay, David, Kathy, Melissa, Samantha and Joey; his mother Della; six sisters, Shirley (Ray), Doreen (Aub), Jean (Morley), Grace, Joyce and Myrna (Nigel); four brothers, Murray (Kathy), Ron (Jean), Neil (Wanda), Jim (Cindy); and numerous nieces and nephews. Lee was predeceased by an infant sister Christina and his father Alfred.

Ames, Russell (Rus) Morris

Russell (Russ) Morris Ames of Calgary passed away on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at the age of 78 years.

Russ was born on September 5, 1928 in Neepawa, MB and was raised in Kenora, ON. He married Doreen Baker in 1950 in Kenora and they immediately moved to Calgary. Russ was employed with Dominion Bridge, CIL Explosives and later painted houses until his retirement. Russ is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Janine and Bill Atchison of Red Deer, Debby and Shad Foster of Calgary; and two grandchildren, Trevor Atchison and Tyler Foster. Russ will also be missed by his special friend Isabelle Gordon of Calgary. He was predeceased by his wife Doreen in 2002; his son Brent Ames in 1999; grandson Donald Atchison in 2004; and twelve siblings.

It is with great sadness, we announce the passing of Felix Rohmer on Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Chinook Hospice in Calgary at the age of 72 years.

Felix was born in Austria on February 27, 1935, and was raised in the country side surrounding Innsbruck. He worked his entire life in the hospitality industry; using his career as an opportunity to work in several countries, including England, Kuwait, and Canada’s Arctic. Many people in Calgary will remember Felix from his years at the Prairie House Deli.

Felix will be lovingly remembered by his wife Roxanna; his beloved children, Peter and Ashley all of Calgary. He is also survived by his daughter Heidi Lewis and her family of England as well as his sister Elisabeth of Austria. Felix will be deeply missed. We will cherish our life together.

Bessie Ada Williams of Caroline, Alberta, passed away on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the age of 85 years.

Bess was born on November 20, 1921 in Caroline, AB. She met Wynne Williams at Caroline and they were married June 17, 1943 at St. Michael & All-Angels Church, Calgary. Bess was a passionate lover of life, of family, and of nature. She was creative, artistic, and enjoyed painting, dance, music, flowers, writing poetry, and visiting with her extended family. Bess was a master seamstress for many years and an enthusiastic volunteer with square dance clubs, the 1988 Olympics, and the Tom Baker Cancer Centre, among others.

Bessie is survived by her husband Wynne; her children Collin and Bev Williams, Faye and Tony Friend, Joan Williams; her grandchildren Dionne, Chris (and Susan), Sean and Michael; her brother Dennis Brown; and sisters Ivy McGrandle and Daisy Kurp. Bess was predeceased by her parents Dora and Charles; her brothers Charlie and Alec; and her sisters Myra and Elsie.

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Janice Christine Wong (nee Jang) beloved wife of Mr. Donald Wong, of Calgary, AB on Monday, March 26, 2007 at the age of 68 years after a brief battle with cancer.

Janice was born in Vancouver, BC, where she met and later married Donald Wong in August 1959. Don and Janice moved their family to Calgary, AB in 1984. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, shopping and her little white dogs.

Janice will be deeply missed by her husband Donald Wong; daughter Stephanie (Curran Erhardt); son Carter; brothers, Christopher Jang, Randolph Jang, and Stephen (Julie) Jang; sisters Faith (Bill) Chung, and Linda Hodgson; as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law; and nieces and nephews. Janice was predeceased by her father Edward Jang and mother Mae Jang.
