Williamson, Jacob Arnold George

Williamson, Jacob Arnold George

Jacob Arnold George Williamson, beloved son of John and Tracy and brother of Emma passed away on Monday, June 27, 2005 at the age of 4 years.

Jacob was born in Calgary on March 29, 2001. Though very sick at first, he endeared himself to everyone he met with his loving spirit and great determination to live and grow. No one who saw his happy smile could ever forget him. As his strength improved Jacob really began to take a bite out of life and reminded us to do the same. His enthusiasm took many forms. Sometimes he showed it by shouting for joy at the sight of a loved one or by making the house echo with his wonderful laughter. He never tired of his favourite toy Tummy-Time Picture Show or his favourite Baby Einstein video. Most of all he seemed to love following his sister’s every movement in admiring fascination and sitting contentedly in our laps staring up at us with pure love. We’ll miss you J-Bear.

Besides his parents and sister, Jacob is remembered by his grandparents, Arnold and Vikki Smith of Huxley, AB, Colleen O’Shea of Red Deer, AB and George Williamson of Fort Smith, NT; uncles and aunt, Richard, Clint, Kevin, and Jill; his nurse and best friend Murielle; and his great-grandmas, Betty Beilman and Ida Smith; as well as many friends and helpers.
