RSS Feeds

Thousands of news sources make their content available, free, to users of RSS newsreaders, also known as aggregators. RSS is a format for syndicating news and content. From The New York Times to Wired, and now to MarketWatch, readers have the opportunity to pick and choose their favorite news sources quickly and conveniently in one place.

MarketWatch is providing some of its popular feeds in RSS format for personal, non-commercial use by individuals only. The feeds are free of charge for use by individuals, as long as the feeds are used for such individual’s personal, non-commercial use. Attribution to MarketWatch, which is included in each feed, is required. 

The updating of feeds available from MarketWatch are subject to change without notice or may be suspended or withdrawn without notice.

The MarketWatch feeds in the RSS format are provided free of charge for use by individuals, as long as the feeds are used for such individual’s personal, non-commercial use.  Notwithstanding the foregoing sentence, users of MarketWatch’s RSS news feeds may display only the  MarketWatch news headlines included as part of the MarketWatch RSS news feeds on web sites they own and control for access by end users of such web sites as long as (i) each such headline is hyperlinked directly to the associated full story on the MarketWatch web site at www.marketwatch.com, which full story may, in MarketWatch’s sole discretion, require member registration on MarketWatch prior to access and display, (ii) each such headline displayed on the web sites of users of MarketWatch’s RSS news feeds includes proper attribution to  MarketWatch, and (iii) you do not sell the MarketWatch headlines or retransmit, disseminate, distribute, publish, broadcast, circulate or commercially exploit the MarketWatch headlines in any manner except as expressly permitted herein without the express written consent of MarketWatch, Inc., and you do not use the information for any unlawful purpose.  MarketWatch reserves the right to require you to cease using the MarketWatch headlines from these feeds at any time and for any reason. 

Attribution to MarketWatch must be provided in connection with your use of the feeds. If you provide this attribution in text, please use: "MarketWatch". If you provide this attribution with a graphic, please use the MarketWatch logo that we have included in the feed itself.

MarketWatch and its licensors reserve all rights in and to the MarketWatch trademark and the MarketWatch logo, and your right to use the MarketWatch trademark and logo is limited to providing attribution in connection with the RSS feeds provided by MarketWatch.
We are also including the author of each individual news story in the feed alongside each headline. Please do not alter this for display. 

MarketWatch and its licensors also reserve all rights in and to the MarketWatch news feeds (and all content included therein), including but not limited to United States copyright law and international treaties. MarketWatch also reserves the right to require you to cease accessing and using these feeds at any time for any reason.

By using the MarketWatch RSS news feed, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth above as well as those in the Terms of Service. MarketWatch reserves the right to modify these RSS Terms of Use and the Terms of Service referenced above from time to time and without notice.
