- How do I talk for free?
- If you call a friend who is in a FreeConnect supported country, your friend receives an SMS notification with a local number to call and get connected to you. Stay on the phone and wait for your friend to call in. Once your friend calls in, you can talk for as long as you want at no charge from jaxtr. Note that your phone company regular charges still apply for the call to the jaxtr number.
- Are these calls really free?
- Yes, jaxtr does not charge you for these calls. Please note that you are making local calls, so your phone company regular charges apply. Always check to make sure you understand your phone company's rates for calling the number given to you.
- I keep holding, but my friend is not calling in. Why?
- After you call, jaxtr texts an SMS notification to your friend with a number to call in. Please note that if your friend does not receive SMS on their phone, then you need to inform your friend of the time and local number to call. You always have the option to bypass the notification and get connected immediately at jaxtr's low rates by pressing "1" while you are holding.
- How much does it cost to get connected immediately?

- Will I start getting spam?
- No, we hate spam too! We won't share your number without your permission and you can even hide your number from people that you call on jaxtr through you account privacy settings. And if you want to stop getting SMS or email notifications from us, simply make the appropriate selection on your account notification settings.
