Rating: Losses could be large – from €40 billion revenues by 2020

Meanwhile, the total number of M2M connections will grow from 62 million in 2010 to 2.1 billion devices in 2020 according to figures produced by Analysys Mason. To counter this danger, MACH has launched an M2M revenue protection solution designed to help M2M service providers reduce losses from fraud and malicious activity on their networks. The new solution forms part of MACH’s broader M Protect revenue protection portfolio (see here). The system will help protect M2M service providers against threats such as SIM cloning; call selling; and Denial of Service attacks. It will also reduce losses caused by human error.
