In this episode we give you a look at the Motorola Droid RAZR MAXX. This is a follow-up to the Droid RAZR, with the major difference being that the RAZR MAXX packs in a 3300 mAh battery. The result? The RAZR MAXX has twice the battery life of the Droid RAZR that was just released a couple of months ago. In fact, this is the first 4G LTE smartphone that we've found that doesn't have horrible battery life. With the Droid RAZR MAXX, you can count on the battery to last all day and night, which is a welcome change from what we've found with other 4G smartphones. It's also got an 8 megapixel camera that records 1080p, and the front camera records 720p as well. It's also got a 1.2 GHz dual core processor. You can pick up the Droid RAZR MAXX for $299.

Kinect and Star Wars, a perfect match some might say. George Lucas has teamed up with Microsoft to bring us the wonderful and whimsical Star Wars Xbox 360 Kinect bundle. The bundle includes a custom painted R2D2 themed Xbox 360 with matching Kinect sensor. The Xbox itself also has custom R2D2 sound effects when turning the console on or off or, as well as when ejecting a disc.
That’s not all; the bundle also includes a copy of the game Kinect Star Wars and a C3PO-themed controller. On the front of the console it can also be noticed that the standard green LED lights that make up the iconic XBOX 360 face have been replaced with blue LEDs to match the whole R2D2 thing. Finally, the Xbox 360 comes equipped with a massive 360 GB hard drive, the newest and largest drive to date available for the console. All of these wonderful treasures are available for pre-order now, and will be available for purchase on June 1 of this year for $449.00.
YikeBIke introducing a modern Penny Farthing-style electric bike

We all remember the Penny Farthing bikes, right? They featured one oversized wheel and no pedals. Whether you saw it in an old British flick or in a book, we never thought that the style would make a comeback. We were wrong. YikeBike, a small company across the pond, is aiming resurrect the Penny Farthing bicycle.
Once you get past its odd look and the slight discomfort of the seat, you may actually fall in love with one of these. There's certainly some good to like about the YikeBike. It’s sleek, slim, and when folded up is about the size of a suitcase. Furthermore, for those that travel into the city by bus or train, you can use a TikeBike once you leave public transportation to get to your destination. All that said, there are a few things we definitely don't like about this thing. The YikeBike is an electric-powered bicycle which uses break regeneration to slow itself down when you let off the gas. So you can never completely come to a stop, unless you bail out. The price of the YikeBike may also leave you screaming, as it's priced at $3,800 for the carbon fiber model, and $2,000 for the aluminum version.
Translogic's Bradley Hasemeyer skimmed across the pond to try the YikeBike for himself, check out his test ride after the jump!

Swedish CleanSpace One satellite set to tidy up space junk

We've been hitting up space like a creeper hits up his Facebook crush. The thing is, a creeper leaves no traces of what they're doing, but that can't be said for our space explorations. Ever since our first trip, we’ve been leaving bits and pieces behind. Over the years, left untreated, this has become a problem. Now, the folks at the Swiss Space Center at EPFL (the Federal Institute for Technology in Lausanne) are looking to clean up with the development of satellites that have a case of OCD.
The Swiss team has designed a ‘janitor’ satellite, which will roam space and collect debris. As the satellites return to earth, the debris will be burned as it re-enters the atmosphere. CleanSpace One is a series of satellites that are set to launch within the next three to five years. Scientists are working on a claw-like feature that can grab debris that's traveling at speeds reaching 17,000 miles per hour. If this projects proves to be successful, an estimated 16,000 pieces of space junk could be removed.

Ever since iMessage was introduced as part of iOS 5, we've been waiting impatiently for Apple to bring that goodness over to the Mac. With OS X Mountain Lion, announced earlier this morning, it will be a reality. In Mountain Lion, Apple will be replacing iChat completely with a new app called Messages. We've installed Mountain Lion and have been playing with it a bit, and what we've basically found is that Messages is everything that iChat was, but with the addition of iMessage and FaceTime rolled in (still no MSN Messenger support.) Apple has actually released Messages in beta, so you don't need to wait for Mountain Lion to get in on the fun, as long as you're running OS X 10.7.3. Head on over to Apple's Messages page to download it.

This morning Apple announced OS X Mountain Lion (10.8,) the next version of its flagship desktop operating system. OS X 10.8 will ship later this summer, and will be available through the Mac App Store. As with OS X 10.7 Lion, Mountain Lion is geared towards bringing more iOS goodness to the desktop, and further blurs the lines between Apple's mobile devices and computers. New features that will be coming to the Mac with Mountain Lion include a new Messages app that will replace iChat and bring iMessage and FaceTime into one app, Notification Center, tighter iCloud integration, AirPlay mirroring from the Mac to an Apple TV, the Reminders app, Notes app, Game Center leaderboards, Twitter built-in to the OS, Share Sheets to make sharing of any content easier, and Gatekeeper, a new security feature that allows you to set preferences for what can and can't be downloaded. We will go more in-depth on each in a separate feature later today.
With the announcement of Mountain Lion, Apple also made it known that it will stick to a new yearly release cycle for its desktop OS.

Tonight On Marvel Cops: Convention Crackdown!

Here come the...MARVEL COPS! Officers Joe Cease and Mickey Desist are ready for legal action in the first episode of Marvel Cops. Tonight, things are not what they seem at the comic book show in San Diego where a costume parade full of perps violates trademarks on center stage. Acting on a tip, the Marvel Cops and their attorney sidekicks then takedown Artists’ Alley where people make extra money sketching trademarked Marvel characters for “fans.” Afterwards, it’s on to the original art dealers for selling artwork depicting corporate-owned characters, but not before tasering several cosplayers for displaying unlicensed sewing. Then it's edge-of-your-seat excitement, true believer, when the Marvel Cops sit in on various convention panels where a host of gag orders prevents writers and artists from saying they created beloved corporate icons. But don't touch that remote! Stay tuned for a special second episode where the Marvel Cops seize the servers at Deviantart and start tracking user names!
