ET Modern, a museum/gallery of Edward Tufte's sculptures and prints, is open Wednesday through Saturday, 10am to 6pm, 547 West 20th Street, corner of West 20th Street and 11th Avenue, in New York's Chelsea art district, 212 206-0300. ET gives artist tours on most Saturdays, including this Saturday February 18. Just mention to the gallery manager that you would like an artist tour.
On Saturday February 25 at 2.00pm the amazing master stone artist Dan Snow will give a talk, "Stone and Art in Nature" followed at 3.00pm by Edward Tufte's open forum answering questions about analytical design, art, the creative process, and public service. Free events, ET Modern.
Edward Tufte's one-day course, "Presenting Data and Information," will be offered at ET Modern on Sunday March 25; and Monday March 26; and Tuesday March 27. (The March 4, 5, 6 courses are almost filled.) See below for course information and registration.
