Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius Host “WZRD” Listening Session in LA


Last night at an intimate venue in Los Angeles, Kid Cudi & Dot Da Genius hosted a private listening session for their forthcoming rock album “WZRD”. Christipher Mintz Plasse and fellow “How To Make it In America” co-stars Bryan Greenberg and Eddie Kaye Thomas attended the listening session to show support for Kid Cudi. Following the albums playback, which ran close to 50 minutes in length, Complex Magazine’s Joe La Puma hosted a Q&A for media attending the event. New Kid Cudi Song “The Ruler & The Killer” Featured on Hunger Games Soundtrack

WZRD is only 2 weeks away from release as it will be available online and in store on Feb 28 (pre-order today!) but we won’t have to wait too long after that for new music. Kid Cudi is no stranger to movie soundtracks, he most recently recorded “No One Believes Me” (produced by Dot Da Genius) for 2011′s remake of “Fright Night”. “All of the Lights” Wins Multiple Grammy’s including “Best Rap Song”

Kid Cudi has previously been nominated for multiple Grammys but until today he has yet to win one. Cudi received a nomination 3 times for the 2012 Grammy’s thanks to his appearance (alongside Rihanna) on Kanye West’s “All of the Lights”. The song just won the Grammy for “Best Rap Song” and “Best Rap/Sung Collaboration”. Kanye West Wins “Best Rap Album” Grammy for “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”

Kanye West just took home “Best Rap Album” for his album “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” beating himself out as “Watch The Throne” was also nominated. Congrats to Kanye and everyone involved with the album including Kid Cudi, Pusha T, and Jay-Z and more. We won’t even get into the fact that it somehow wasn’t nominated for “Album of The Year”.  Read More

One of the biggest songs of 2011 finally has a music video. Kanye West and Jay-Z’s “Ni**as in Paris” just made its premier on VEVO and you can watch the brand new video below. Directed by Kanye West, the music video was filmed in LA and features a handful of live footage from last years Watch The Throne tour. Also, keep an eye out for a brief cameo by Cudi and Chip.
