The Black Native American Association (BNAA) is an intertribal group of people with African-American and Native American heritage who organized in late summer 1992.
We do not require proof of tribal enrollment or recognition. We tend to be inclusive, not exclusive. The BNAA chooses not to mimic "Blood Quantum" tactics. We accept all those who wish to participate.
The association was founded in the Oakland-San Francisco Bay Area. Our membership includes indigenous peoples from all over the world. We honor all our ancestors.
