Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment will bring We Bought a Zoo to Blu-ray in April. Directed by Cameron Crowe (Jerry Maguire), this dramedy stars Academy Award-winner Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting) as a widower who buys the Rosemoor Animal Park in order to help himself and his two children cope with the death of his wife. We Bought a Zoo streets on April 3rd.
In an early retail announcement, the independent film distributor Olive Films has revealed plans to bring Badge 373 to Blu-ray. Inspired by the life of Eddie Egan - who also influenced Popeye Doyle in The French Connection - this crime drama stars Robert Duvall (The Godfather) as a tough police officer on the trail of a multi-million-dollar arms deal. Badge 373 is expected to street on April 24th.
In May, Warner Home Entertainment will bring Chuck: Seasons 1 - 5 to Blu-ray. This set bundles the entire run of the cult action-comedy series about Chuck Bartowski (Zachary Levi, Tangled), a "Buy More" computer geek who becomes an unwitting secret agent when he downloads government secrets into his brain. Chuck: Seasons 1 - 5 is expected to street on May 8th.
Olive Films have revealed that they are planning to release a three-disc Collector's Edition of Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci's epic drama Novecento a.k.a 1900 (1976), starring Gérard Depardieu, Robert De Niro, Dominique Sanda, Burt Lancaster, and Donald Sutherland. Street date is April 24th.
Independent distributors Olive Films have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray director Melvin Frank's (The Facts of Life, A Touch of Class) western The Jayhawkers (1959), starring Jeff Chandler, Fess Parker, Nicole Maurey, and Henry Silva. Street date is April 24th.
Blu-ray.com and Well Go USA are offering three Blu-ray.com members the opportunity to win a copy of director Han-min Kim's award-winning War of the Arrows, starring Park Hae-il, Moon Chae-Won and Ryoo Seung-Ryong. The South Korean historical actioner blasts onto Blu-ray on February 21st.
Blu-ray.com and Universal Studios Home Entertainment are offering two Blu-ray.com members the opportunity to win a copy of director Lewis Milestone's All Quiet on the Western Front, starring John Wray, Lew Ayres and Louis Wolheim. All Quiet on the Western Front arrives on February 14th.
British distributors Metrodome Video have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray Tony Ching's The Emperor and the White Snake (2011), starring action superstar Jet Li, Eva Huang, Raymond Lam, Vivian Hsu, and Suet Lam. The Blu-ray will be available for purchase on April 2.

Shout Factory announced today a multi-year agreement with CJ Entertainment, the leading film distribution and production company in Korea, to be the exclusive North American home entertainment distributor for two widely popular Korean motion pictures: Kim Ji-hun's 3D blockbuster Sector 7 (2011) and Cho Beom-gu's Quick (2011).
In June, Warner Home Entertainment will release the Lethal Weapon Collection on Blu-ray. This box set collects all four entries in the popular action franchise, which stars Mel Gibson (The Road Warrior) and Danny Glover (The Color Purple) as two initially mismatched detectives whose very different crime-fighting styles make them the scourge of Los Angeles' worst criminals. The Lethal Weapon Collection streets on June 12th.
Starting today - February 14th - the Criterion Collection will hold a special half-off sale. The independent film distributor will offer 50% off the SRPs of their in-stock online catalog. The promotion begins at 12 PM EST today and ends tomorrow at 12 PM EST. Update: Criterion's website is now functional, though not without some technical issues.
Starting this year, Warner Home Entertainment will hold a moratorium on all Blu-ray and DVD copies of The Wizard of Oz. The studio has made this decision with the intention of ultimately boosting consumer anticipation for the film's seventy-fifth anniversary. By October of 2012, no Wizard of Oz packages will receive active distribution schedules until new holiday releases arrive in the fourth quarter of 2013.
Independent British distributors Second Sight have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray Marcel Carné's legendary Les Enfants du paradis a.k.a Children of Paradise (1945). Newly restored by Pathe, Les Enfants du paradis is regarded by many as the greatest French film ever made. The preliminary release date is May 7th.

British distributors Entertainment in Video (EIV) have revealed that they are planning to release on Blu-ray director Luc Besson's (The Fifth Element, Léon: The Professional) latest film The Lady (2011), starring Michelle Yeoh (Reign Of Assassins) and David Thewlis (Mr. Nice). The preliminary release date set by the distributors is April 23.

In April, Anchor Bay Home Entertainment will bring The Wicker Tree to Blu-ray. Director Robin Hardy's follow-up to his 1973 cult horror classic The Wicker Man watches as increasingly sinister events befall two friends at a secluded religious community. The Wicker Tree streets on April 24st.
In anticipation of the 2012 Academy Awards, Universal Studios Home Entertainment is streeting the Blu-ray edition of All Quiet on the Western Front.
