Instructor: Suzanne Graham
Wednesdays - Jan. 11 - Feb. 15 | 5:30 - 6:45 p.m.
Location: Birmingham Botanical Gardens - East Room
$12 Per Class or All Classes for $60
Being outside can intensify the yoga experience in many ways — focusing awareness, breathing deeply, practicing stillness and joining with nature. This multidimensional approach to relaxation facilitates deep integration of mind, body and spirit. This practice is appropriate for anyone, regardless of physical condition. The Gardens is the perfect place to do that! In addition, uneven, natural surfaces can intensify a yoga posture and its physical benefits. Other items you might like to bring: mat, towels, sunscreen, sunglasses, and insect repellent.
About the Instructor: Suzanne Graham combines a flowing style with a focus on strength, breath, light-heartedness and a quiet spirituality. She finds that yoga provides the connection between the physical body, the true self, and the divine energy of the universe. Suzanne is an ERYT 200 Kripalu lineage and a level 2 Thai Yoga facilitator.
