The debut album from Trace Cyrus’ new musical project is a polarising work. Cyrus actually shows some unexpected potential for the electro-pop genre, distancing himself from the Metro Station (RIP) past which highlighted a flair for disposable, glossy chart tunes but hardly any real musical merit. Information on this project online is sparse, which is a shame as it’s nowhere near the lacklustre rehash we judgmental types might have expected. February 17th, 2012 GrantIt is amazing how Skrillex creates an intricate story through his music videos and his latest work, for the title track “Bangarang,” is no different. He focuses on a boy’s constant torment of the local ice cream truck driver and the results are seemingly flawless. Hilarious and adventurous at the same time.

February 17th, 2012 GrantIsland/Interscope rockers Keane have revealed the official plans for their comeback tour this May and can be viewed right here on UTG. The tour will start off in Newcastle on May 2 and end in Brixton on June 8. This run is bound to be exciting so be sure to pick up your tickets on February 24 at 9am (GMT)!

This festival will take place the weekend of June 8 through 10, at Donington Park, and features headlining acts The Prodigy, Metallica, and reunited rock legends Black Sabbath.
