@abitgone "the Oblate Ovoid Line" wouldn't fit on the posters @rem good start, though! This is why we have make start, because our makefile runs all the servers and creates DBs and etc. @rem it is. We're not bad; sudo apt-get install <deps package>; bzr branch <site trunk>; make start. But still imperfect. @dymonaz also, to be clear: I think game devs *should* make it work everywhere :) @codepo8 go for it :) @codepo8 heh. I built years ago that does that :) Haven't touched it for ages, though, so it's probably broken @dymonaz no, I don't expect game devs to make it work everywhere. But I do expect other vendors to then copy webkit to make them work @dymonaz Angry Birds HTML version. @slightlylate @brucel not about being unreadable; is about looking and feeling worse. A big part of the argument for iOS being better, no? @robertnyman @slightlylate @rem I don't see why. If it were called document.MsAll then it'd be identical ;) @robertnyman @slightlylate @rem why draw a line? Firefox supports document.all deliberately for this reason; no line drawn there? @slightlylate @robertnyman @rem I totally agree we should tell people to test the fallback. If they don't, despite being told, what do we do? @slightlylate I think you demand too strong a definition here; "looking better in browser X" is enough to bias users to browser X @slightlylate @robertnyman @rem ya, but those devs don't know they're screwed at the time, and it's their users that suffer, not the devs @slightlylate see, frex, -- I can't even read the writing on the other faces. @robertnyman @slightlylate @rem You're advocating "bad devs should get their sites screwed". Most vendors don't like that, and users suffer @chipaca interesting question. No, though, because the browser fetches the manifest to see if anything's changed. :) @slightlylate mm. I'd love to see data on that; sure, not having a gradient works, but no 3d transform screws a site. Does anyone have data? @slightlylate @robertnyman @rem as long as there are devs who don't do it right and don't do fallback, deprecating a prefix will break sites HTML page with a manifest is always cached even if not in the manifest, right? So a page w/ no external assets can have an empty manifest?
