Added IEBlog to my feed reader. That's something I never would have imagined doing a few years ago. Props to MS for finally grokking the web I signed up for a Spark Tablet preorder so I can review it for Ars and maybe do some Qt app hacking. Looks like an interesting project. I kind of want to review the new WindowMaker and party like it's 2005: Anybody using it yet? @ConstantineXVI it doesn't really seem to have a coherent aesthetic yet. The UI design feels like it's still kind of at an early stage. Really fascinated by Mozilla's B2G project: Thanks to @BrendanEich for answering my questions yesterday! @BrendanEich wow, lots more here than last time I checked. :-) Is the FF nightly the best environment for testing this web UI? @BrendanEich is B2G that far along? Last time I looked at the Gaia UI stuff, it was mostly mockups and placeholder code. @BrendanEich fair point, but I suspect webOS code will be published in entirety sooner than B2G will be developed into a mature platform @webosinternals I dunno how I missed that. :-) I added it to the article. I'm really happy to see HP adopting a community-friendly governance model for Open webOS: Fantastic! Clear also suffers from gesture overload. Dragging down either moves up a level or creates new item depending on how far. That's clumsy. Gestures are only helpful if consistent. Close pinch in Clear moves up a level, but open pinch doesn't move down a level. Not predictable. Playing around with Clear: Interesting concept, but not particularly intuitive imo. I don't always allude to 19th century theosophical texts in my headlines, but when I do… HP meets H.P. Blavatsky : -)
