BBC News on Murdoch & Sun on Sunday: "Newspapers are in decline". In other news, people are buying electronic pocket telephones. @stickydroids Haha, well I'm currently re-writing this all with libgdx but when I'll be happy to see Rokon 3 so hope it goes well. So it looks like AndEngine is a little bit abandoned from a Box2D point of view? Rokon 3 on the way? (@stickydroids) @silentworks Schooling me is a full time job. @stray_and_ruby A lot of people are in the same boat with that. Right about your second tweet. Business stats would be interesting. @loadedwino I'd like to see iOS a bit more open. Like Android's "allow unknown sources" option (defaults to off), or JailBreaking. @loadedwino yeah but you can read between the lines which puts you in the top 0.001% ;) RTd you as it nicely counters my tweet. @scottbert It looks like that's how it's going on both. I see the benefit for users, but the freedom-loving geek in me is always suspicious. @loadedwino I did pose it as a question in my tweet because I didn't know. Good to have it clarified. @loadedwino You have to pay Apple to get a dev certificate just to make free software. It's that slippery slope to lack of freedom I fear. Mountain Lion means you have to pay Apple for dev cert to let people install free software without a warning dialog? @loadedwino @loadedwino You will have to sign DMGs downloaded outside of AppStore with an Apple dev cert (MountainLion/GateKeeper). @loadedwino Not yet, no. But why wouldn't they, it bypasses their 30%. . @loadedwino I think it's great for users. I just don't know about developers, and don't fancy Windows at all. With the iOSification and AppStore changes it's kinda heading that way. When the Mac AppStore came out I wondered if OSX would start to become more locked down and less suitable for devs (apart from Mac dev). @NebulaFox Probably 12:30 I should think!
