Answer
People often want to know how I went from having a self-published book to having a published book. These are the steps I took:

Sibling surprised me with a self-published book from articles I had written for a homeschool newsletter. Got myself a speaking gig at a homeschool conference Spent a lot of time in the chat room at crosswalk.com Talked about book publishing with an anonymous author who gave me the phone number of a publisher Called the publisher – sent him my self-published book and another book I was working on Eight days later the publisher called me back and said, â€œWe HAVE to publish your book.â€

And thatâ€¦is how itâ€™s done.

Three weeks ago, I had only seen the word Twitter on Facebook profiles. To say Iâ€™ve been â€œout of the internetâ€ loop for the last three years was an understatement.
