Our Own Real Time Coverage
We are covering the team as well. Here is a link to game notes from our own website as we travel with the Wizards. Check it out.
I Stand Corrected
Mike Prada from SB Nation pointed out that he updated his Wizards blog at 12:58 am. I apologize for missing this timestamp and feed.
In praise of professional media
So today I woke up early – 530 am, and looked to the scores of the Wizards vs. Trail Blazer game last night. As noted – I only could stay up til half time.Â
NBC local news had a running scroll with the score; that was a nice way to wake up and have a cup of coffee.Â
I then went online and read the Washington Post. It covered the game well as the writer was at the game.Â
I then went to several of my favorite Wizards blogs; and what did I see?Â
Previews of the game. A story about Portland and their plans.Â
One had an article about the Miami Heat game from Friday.Â
It appears no local Wizards blogger stayed up late and wrote about the game in real time? I am sure they will do a good job later today; but without NBC local and the Post – I wouldn’t have the data that I wanted and needed.
Thank goodness for professional media in this regard.Â
They made me happy; thank you.
First ever Wizards team to win 2 consecutive road games by 15 or more points?
NOW that is an odd fact and stat. Who knew?Â
I admire those who could stay up and watch the game; I am sad to say I only lasted til half time!Â
I was happy to read this article for our fans and for our players and staff.Â
More baby steps to respectability.Â
We have a long difficult journey ahead – but we are allowed to enjoy some moments along the way.Â
Back to back road wins. A complete team effort – with lots of points coming from lots of players.Â
Don’t get too high with the high or too low with the lows.
One Georgetown students take on coming to the games
A very passionate plea from one student to other students and about school spirit and attendance.Â
Thought provoking; with lots of comments.Â
Hoya Saxa. The Georgetown men’s basketball team is playing quite well this season; we are proud of the team and the coach and our University.
