Richard Sarwal brings more than 18 years of industry experience with a proven track record of database and systems management skills covering the critical areas of scalability, availability and performance, to his role as Senior Vice President of Product Development for Oracle Corporation. Sarwal is responsible for the development of all aspects of Enterprise Systems Management covering all products—OS, Database, Middleware, Applications - including Provisioning, Patching, Configuration Management, Performance and Application Service Level Management. Prior to joining Oracle in 1989, he began his career as a programmer, DBA and systems engineer.
