Tribute to Veteran's

My brother made this video as a tribute to WWII Veterans.
The song (When Day is Done) is sung by my Mom and her sister who were semi-professional singers and were "just kids" then.  They made a few records.

Both of them have passed on but I think they would be thrilled to know that they made a "blog worthy post".

Happy Halloween (late)

Late because we had a freak blizzard and no power for five days.
Not a happy camper here during that time since the weather was chilly.

Halloween got canceled till November 5th when all the little kids will come out trick or treating.  I am not too sure many will be out.  Hopefully, the snow will be gone by then.

Leftover Halloween Candy Cake

Well, we did not have many trick or treaters but this year and were left with four bags of candy and what my son brought home.

So here is a recipe on how to recycle the candy into something yummy, maybe for the office?  It has a sour cream base.

National Candy Corn Day

Just a share for Trick or Treat.
