The SXSW PanelPicker allows the community to have a significant voice in programming Interactive, Film, and Music conference activities for SXSWeek 2012 (March 9-18).
Listening to the Online CommunitySXSW is a community-driven event. So, knowing what kinds of topics you want to hear at the event next March is extremely important to us. Your votes and comments account for about 30% of the decision-making process for any given programming slot.
Also important is the input of the SXSW Advisory Board, which is a group of industry professionals from across the US and around the world. The final part of the panel decision-making equation is the input of the SXSW staff.
Lending your voice to the decision-making process is easy. First, create a PanelPicker account. If you have set up a PanelPicker account in previous years, feel free to go ahead and sign in. After you have signed up for an account, you will receive a verification email. Click on the link inside this email and you will be ready to go. Also, please be assured that we will NOT use your account data for mailing lists and we will not give this data to any third party vendors.

In order to more easily explore topics that the community seeks to discuss, we've returned trending functionality to the PanelPicker.
