Robert Fowler, UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon's Special Envoy and former Canadian Ambassador to the UN, experienced terrifying captivity at the hands of Al Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb, with the threat of death hanging over him daily. Ian Smillie, a founder of the Canadian NGO, Inter Pares, and a long-time foreign aid watcher and critic was among the first international investigators to publicly denounced the use of ‘blood diamonds’, and understand how these gemstones with no intrinsic value drive conflict, corruption and mayhem. These days there is so much happening around us that it is hard to keep up. Sometimes the best thing we can do to cope is to disconnect. While this strategy helps us to get by in the short term, it causes us problems over the long term. Reconnecting is easy. It reduces stress, feels good and helps you boost your natural healing abilities. In this 45 minute workshop you will learn: - A simple exercise that boosts energy, releases tension and gives you clarity - The real meaning of emotions and how to harness their energy Due to limited space at this workshop, RSVP is necessary. Please bring a yoga mat or towel. Call 613-594-9595 now to reserve a spot for you and a friend!

Actions speak louder than words! People can hide behind words and can say or write anything they want, but when it gets to action you will experience and know an another person for real. During our dating events we practice Tantric intimate yet sometimes hilarious exercises together without saying a single word to help you discover the most important features of your partners. You learn more about them on one event than you would by chatting to them for days. I believe the most efficient and fun way to date is to meet and experience a lot of people in person. Because the more people you date and experience through activity the better your chances to get to know the right information about them and really find your Mr Right or Miss Wonderful so you don’t have to settle for whoever comes along.

In winter, more petticoats and a shawl were added. A chemise would have been worn, but this is omitted here in order to keep the costume simple. This course is about living an authentic and purposeful life. If you are passionate about your life and want more from it or perhaps you feel stuck and are not sure where to turn; then this course will help get you there.

We start by writing a Provocative Possibility Statement where you declare your most incredible self! Through examining your values, intentions and how you put them into practice, you design a life where your actions really match your value system and ideals. The course will conclude with the design and creation of your personal Vision Board to complement the Provocative Possibility Statement. Throughout the course, you will track your progress in a daily journal and record your successes, insights and learning opportunities.

Six-week series begins Thursdays, March 8 to April 12. Introduction class is free, $90.00 per person for the six-week series.

We carry past imprints from our childhood and adolescence—even from past lives—and they color everything from the present to the future—that is, until we let them go. In the world of recovery this baggage is called resentment, or re-sentiment, things we feel and experience over and over and over again—until we transform them through forgiveness.

We all long for a return to innocence. Through the practice of yoga and meditation we recognize our own innocence. We reclaim it for ourselves.

We will do the work together over 4 weekly classes. Every waking moment of our lives, we process 1,000 thoughts per blink of the eye; these thoughts along with the past we carry can become a heavy burden. So, let’s just drop it!

Cost: $60.00 per person for the 4 week series or $15.00 Drop In fee or use your PranaShanti Class Card.
