Just Get Started!

I’m writing this page after doing the Nokia Daily News for almost four months.  In an ocean as big as the internet, you don’t need to better than everyone, just better than some.  Here’s the videos that actually inspired me to get started. If you’re reading this site, chances are that you own a phone that can record decent video. The barriers of entry are gone! What are you gonna start?

ThoughtFix has a video podcast about Internet Tablets. This is a narrow niche market, and he’s the king!

Indy Mogul is a site for poor film makers. They’ve got lots of great howtos. If this doesn’t get you inspired, you’re hopeless. Go back to your day job.

Ira Glass tells you how to get over the fear of creating garbage. He basically says the first stuff you make will be crap. Get over it, keep making stuff, and it’ll get better.
