I simply fell in love with these simple papers Christmas trees. You can find the directions for making your own little trees over at Martha Stewart.  I can’t wait to give them a try and I love that you can make them in all sizes. I am really wanting to create a little Christmas village this year with paper/cardboard houses and I think these would make a great addition!

One of my all time favorite children’s books for Christmas is Mr. Willoby’s Christmas Tree by Robert Barry. When Mr. Willoby’s tree is too tall he simply chops off the top and then a series of people and animals take the chopped top as their tree. As it gets smaller and smaller so do the animals until it ends up with Mistletoe Mouse…and there is is…in the mousehole right near the very BIG tree Mr. Willoby has!

We are just finishing up the Valentine’s Day Countdown and the Seventeen Days of Green starts March 1st! The Declutter Club 2012 is in full swing with both daily, weekly, and monthly goals. Our members are inspiring and creative. Our Rudolph Day forum is full of ideas for the 25th of each month. My second favorite forum is Great Pumpkin Day. I love browsing through people’s ideas for Halloween!
