Feb 4 Volunteer Open Call with Meet & Greet

ImagiCon will host a Volunteer Open Call, with Meet & Greet on Saturday, February 4, at the Columbus Public Library at 3p.m. in Synovus/CB&T A & B meeting rooms.

The library is located at:  3000 Macon Rd., Columbus, Georgia 31907.

Props and dioramas at IC2012 ImagiCon 2012 will be bring a new and exciting adventure!  We will do a costume fan-film work shop, with a few twists. About Us

      ImagiCon is a premier Full-scale Science Fiction and Fantasy convention.  Moving from Birmingham, Alabama, to Columbus, Georgia, in 2012, ImagiCon will build on the success of the 2009 and 2010 conventions!  Columbus is a perfect site for a Fandom-focused convention for Sci-Fi and Fantasy enthusiasts. ImagiCon is working to imagine creative and compelling ways to explore diverse avenues of presenting and experiencing events and activities at a Science Fiction and Fantasy conventions. Part of this vision includes creating a "world of fandom, come to life." 

Events and Activiities range from:
   -   Celebrity Guests
   -   Vendors and Dealers packed with amazing collectables and wares
   -   Educational and interactive seminars/panels with actors, artists, and best-selling authors
   -   Networking opportunities for prospective writers, actors, and artists
   -   Interactive Live Action Role Playing and costume contests
   -   Literature discussion, debate and creation
   -   Arts and workshops which consist of career prospects, creating costumes and props
   -   Gaming, both electronic and tabletop

     The volunteer ImagiCon staff are experienced and proven convention veterans who are eager to bring one of the best Sci-Fi/Fantasy conventions to Columbus, Georgia.
