Private Nook

I love this nook. So personal, so private. Boleh guling guling and baca buku inside here for hours. Talking about it, Idraki and I was up at his Tok Ki's house at the top bedroom earlier today. There was a nice little nook like this with a trianguler space near the door. The windows were facing the road, he was so mesmerised by the scenery and stayed there for a long time, almost like he didn't want to go home(although mommy only saw a windy road and greeneries-no imagination la mommy!). Mesti he was imagining about something tu.

Trip Through North Borneo 1907



From the youtube description:
Opening with a train journey, the film shows views from the train as it passes through a village and crosses a bridge. The camera is next on a boat, showing rapids, the jungle, locals on a raft and members of the expedition fording the stream.

This is followed by scenes of the local industries. Locals quarry for manganese ore, gather rubber from a tree (watched by Europeans) and pick and sort tobacco leaves from the fields. Further scenes reveal locals at a trading post and performing for the camera.

Next, Chinese convicts collect their food, before a sequence showing a European supervising two locals as they chop a sago palm tree. Once felled, the trunk is sawed off and buffaloes (ridden by locals) haul the logs off screen.

Local boys take part in a swimming race - diving off a gangway, watched by a European figure rowing alongside - before the film concludes with further shots of the buffaloes, driven into, and crossing, the water.

Busy Daddy

I am sad to see that ever since Zikri started his career as a fulltime PT since November, Idraki doesn't want to be with him anymore. He doesn't want his daddy to send him to school, he doesn't want to say goodnight to daddy and sometimes he doesn't want to sayang daddy. He doesn't want to hug daddy good morning and doesn't want to hold daddy's hand when we jalan2 in the shopping mall.

Uruskan Idraki I admit it's like being a single mother. Segala urusan pasal my son and household I'll do it by myself. Hubby works like dari pagi ke petang. Only will be seeing his son awake like hujung minggu or early in the morning when he's hurrying to go to work. Bila pulang selalunya Idraki sudah tidur.

Prolly his daddy needs to buy him presents to win him back ngehehehe. Issues... issues. I hope this will be resolved soon.
