Snarfer is a free RSS feed reader produced by Snarfware, LLC. It was created and developed by James Holderness (member of RSS Advisory Board[1]), William Templeton, and Kirk Colvin [2]. According to its producers, Snarfer is the most downloaded RSS reader from CNet's download.com, being downloaded more than 158,000 times.[3][4]

These are among Snarfer's features [5][6]:

Tabbed window Drag and drop management of feeds and folders Scheduled updating of feeds Embedded browser with simple navigation controls Embedded video support Customizable view Keyword searching Sharing articles by e-mail Import and export in OPML format Bloglines synchronization

The last release of Snarfer was on June 15, 2008 and, on the main page, a caption reads: "At this time the Snarfer team has ended development and support for Snarfer. But everyone may still continue to use and enjoy Snarfer.

Cheers, Team Snarfer" [7]

The forums are also no longer monitored.[8]
