It's a New Day......

A month feels like a week. That how fast my life is now. Not complaining but thanking God for all the blessing in life. Hope it's not too late to wish Happy Thanksgiving to all, I wish we have a celebration for thanksgiving here and perhaps a black friday too ...hehe

We are back from our ten days holidays in KL, Seremban and Port Dickson. It was a wonderful holidays and we brought back 60 kg worth of things back home. That is a whole lots of things brought back from only a ten days holidays. We have spent lots of money buying clothing for the kids and get some working cloths for myself. It's time to go back to work and I need new cloths to give me the excitement to go back to office. To be honest I am not that excited to go back to work, I have mixed feeling about it. I texted my colleague yesterday about a particular things that i wanted her to handle when i am away, she told me that she still working on it, she added that she cant wait for me to come back as taking care of my labs are really tiring. She need to get people to do some engineering jobs and also a chemist to do some application work. It's not easy to operate an equipment without the two experts. The job could be done earlier is the engineer that came earlier can do his job. He quits and this is giving us trouble in getting a new replacement. If there is an easy place to recruit like engineering recruitment, things would be easier. I doubt she will be able to handle it before I report for duty. I can see more problems coming next month but I don't want to think too much about it yet. Let her look for people to do the engineering jobs while I enjoy my last month of my unpaid leave. Talking about my unpaid leave. I am happy that I managed to get approval for this leaves. I enjoyed every day of my leaves and have spent quality times with my DH and DS. I will miss the time spent with them for sure but I need to get back to work as well. The year is coming to an end and it's time to recap what have we done with our life the past one year. Are you happy? Are you satisfied? I am and I look forward to 2011 with hope for good life and good health for myself and my kids, that matter most to me.

Yes, It's the time of the year when we will have our holidays in KL. Normally we will depart just two days before Depavali celebration but since I am still on leave and DH has a seminar cum talk in KL, we depart one week earlier. It is a good decision to go early as we wont be rushed into buying cloths for the kids and ourselves. We are having so much fun despite the difficulty travelling with two kids, a toddler who doesn't really like to sit on a stroller and a four month old who is constantly feeding. This is our third day here and we has spent half of the day doing our first round of shopping. There are lots of break, to feed and clean the children but we will manage. Tomorrow we will be looking for our IT Network Support who is my DH brother to fix my laptop which fail to function since two weeks ago. I wish IT support Services that charge a reasonable fee is easily available in Kota Kinabalu.I hope it can be fixed this week as it is quite hard to live without a computer now. I normally use it for work purpose as well as personal. Sona uses it to skype with her dad and mama faye. So I am crossing my fingers that no major problem will be detected from the laptop.In this fast moving life an IT support services is crucial to attend to any problem face by computer user as communication is vital is ones life. One I can get my laptop fixed, I can enjoy the holiday better. Happy Depavali to those celebrating, to the rest, enjoy the public holiday!

When people say time flies very fast, I couldn't agree more..It does fly like rockets. It is end of October and that means we are only left with November and December for 2010. Soon, it's time to wrap the accomplishment for 2010 and gearing towards making a better 2011. I love my 2010 as I have accomplished much more than I have expected. But I will not blog about resolutions now, it is for next year. I am looking forward to Friday as we are flying to KL and Seremban. The only time I can rest, apart from looking after two kids, is when I am away from home. I need this break as I have work quite hard since I give birth. Weight Wise, I just need to loose 3 kg to go back to pre pregnancy shape without taking any pills and without going to the gym ( smile). By the time I started to work, I hope I can still use my working outfits ( grin).I also  know some people are trying to conceive this year, all the best I sincerely hope this year is your year too. To my friends who are looking for a better job, have a look at job requirements and tips at recruitment harrogate and I think there are some recruitment agency which you can check too. I have used recruitment agency to land my first job when I was a student. It's fast as long as you fulfill all criteria needed. I did a resolution ealier this year and normally, I will review it in the middle of the year. But this time I am a bit late in reviewing my list of resolutions/dreams/ things to be done in 2010 or whatever you call it. I was a bit surprised when I noticed I am about to get two of my dreams next month. November is sure a good month..yea..Wait and see. and again I believe in dreams and seeing them coming true is wonderful. Want to be more organise, get this purse organiser, coming soon at PAD ( promoting...hehe)

I am currently staying at home looking after my almost 3 months old baby. There are times I feel bored so I think I still want to be out there working for a while until I can really find something that I enjoy doing and willing to stay home to do it fulltime-am working on that.

Hey, do not be alarmed with the title of my post tonight. I am sure most of you think that Forensic accountant must have something to do with CSI, which is one of my favourite TV series.Forensic science is indeed an interesting field. I work in a laboratory but too bad it's not a forensic laboratory but an agriculture base laboratory. We deal with the plants, fertilisers and soils. It's interesting but not as interesting as a forensic laboratory as we normally see in a crime laboratories.I am glad that my three months unpaid leaves is approved. I have not receive the letter yet but according to the person in charge, it should not be a problem. I can continue with my leave. With the addition of three months, I basically have five months of so called maternity leaves. I am planning to make full use of my leaves. Not only that I have started baking, I've also tried new recipes of cakes. Apart from that I plan to design and add more items to my sewing page in facebook. I just love being at home with my kids. The feeling of being able to wake up without the alarm and not rushing is just wonderful. Seeing my boy Dhanesh grows everyday is priceless. I know three months is not long but it's all I have and I will do as many things with Sona and spend time with Dhanesh.I wish my business will expand and I am able to stop working when i reach 45. I hope my dream will become a reality. Therefore I may need service from forensic accounting expert if my business really expands. I just need to be focused and continue to work diligently on the things that interest me. There is no need for me to work hard and dream to be a forensic accountant or forensic chemist in the future.I am sure these three months will be one of the best months in my life.

Time flies very fast. Most people said and I can't agree more. It feels like it was just yesterday when I carried Dhanesh in my big fat belly. Today, the tummy is almost gone and he is almost two months old.  I like staying at home and this is the biggest dilemma of a working mother. Seeing your newborn will always give these feelings of wanting to stay home. Some brave mom did take the plunge and left a high paying job to stay at home. Too bad, I still don't have the courage to do that. May be because I still want to have my own money, the freedom to buy anything I want with my own money. I must admint I cant stand staying at home for very long without doing anything.Therefore I have started baking again,check my cake blog and I sew too..haha

A new addition to our small family, Dhanesh Evan born 4.2kg and 53 cm tall ( lenght) on the 2nd July 2010. It's a joy to have him in the family. It has been a month plus and I am enjoying every bit of his company. It's really hard to go back to work when you have a new baby in your arm. I just feel like you want to be with him every hour of the day. It's tiring, no doubt but I quote what quirin wrote in the blog

"A baby will make love stronger, days shorter, nights longer, bank balance smaller, home happier, clothes dirty, the past forgotten, and the future worth living for.

The days indeed are shorter when you are enjoying every moment of it. Babies are definitely made you forget the past, the pain, the problem and make you look forward to the future, spending every breath you have with them.
