hey friends!  i have a new blog and will no longer be blogging here after today.  and i should say that i am blogging under my own name which is KATE.  yes, zoey is retiring!

i have moved to this address: blatheringsblog.com.  i think you will like it alot better.  unfortunately, i was not able to move any of my wonderful comments from all of you over with the posts!  i will miss those… especially the ones from you on the left!

sarah has drawn a massive crowd in florida.  it seems 60,000 people showed up in a state which many say is still in play. let’s hope sarah puts it into the mcpalin column.

so you may have already seen this….  i am still behind in my blogging from my trip to DC.  but this is alot of fun! 

by now you know Sarah and Todd Palin have unusual names for their 5 kids:  track, bristol, willow, piper and trig.  if sarah were your mom what would she name you?  go to the “sarah palin baby name generator” and find out!

mine is clever i think:  strike chipper palin.  at any event, it sounds very alaskan and very palin!

the media elites… 

they just don’t get it. 

pds.  palin derangement syndrome.  the cousin of course to bds – bush derangement syndrome.  interestingly, its only the leftards that suffer from this.  check it out:

randi rhodes.  who still listens to her?  yet here she is not only calling sarah palin too opinionated but also insinuates she likes to sleep with teenage boys!  check it out:

may i say first off, it really takes a woman with stones to criticize another woman for being too opinionated especially when you’re in the line of work that randy rhodes is in.

now, this regular “smearer of cow dung” has launched a despicable rumor against sarah palin with absolutely no basis in reality and no evidence to back it up — anything to make palin look bad, right? who cares how baseless an accusation it is.  is there ‘no low’ that randi rhodes won’t go?

here’s just a few of her other smears:  her pow smear against john mccain.  her fake mugging to cover up the fact that she was drunk (although she always sounds like she’s hammered to me). she’s joked repeatedly about assassinating president bush. 

but wait!  she also smears those on the left:  she calls hillary and geraldine ferraro lovely names.

randi rhodes.  a living example of the unhinged far left who try to silence and intimidate those who disagree with them; smear and insult those with different opinions.

maybe some have been able to move away from that day abit, but i haven’t. 

it’s been 7 years since the attacks of September 11th, 2001 and i still feel a certain kind of anxiety each year as this date approaches.  i have an intensity about what happened, a righteous anger against the kind of religious ideology that says it’s ok to come in and kill us all in the name of god.

the events of that day solidified something in me and millions and millions of other americans:

we are not afraid.  we continue to live our lives the best way we know how. we work, we play, we laugh, we live. we don’t waste one moment, nor sacrifice one bit of our beloved freedom, because of fear.

we are not afraid.

oh, and in the middle of all of our living, we are hunting down the ones who did this to us all over the world and either killing them (my preference) or bringing them to certain justice.

translation?  “i will not submit”.  we have prevailed.  let freedom ring.
