Reader For Mac - RSS is still important!

Reader for Mac

For some time I don't really use offline applications to read my 400+ RSS subscriptions. I've used Google Reader Exclusively for this in the past 2 years, with excellent results.

In the meanwhile I've been told by @mjvalente of a new App for reading and managing RSS subscriptions called "Reader" that you might want to checkout!

Rare Apple computer sells for $210,700 | Apple - CNET News

Wipeout: When Your Company Kills Your iPhone : NPR

Wipeout: When Your Company Kills Your iPhone : NPR: "Someone in the IT department had sent out what's called a 'remote wipe,' a kind of auto-destruct command that's delivered by e-mail. "

This isn't really an iPhone problem per se, although Apple implemented the features in the Exchange stack to please Big companies and put the iPhone in the business world. Microsoft is the one that first implemented these features in the MS Exchange servers. This just proves that most of the time you shouldn't mix private and work stuff. Don't bring work into bed... The only one who is going to loose is you. Your company will just replace you.

Offsite daily encrypted backup via Dropbox

Offsite daily encrypted backup via Dropbox: "Using some shell scripting + crontab + Dropbox, I've created a method for doing a daily encrypted backup of folders, lasting for 31 days."
This is a nice hack to try out but remember that Dropbox is space limited, so if your account isn't big enough... you'll be in trouble...

ASUS' Eee Pad already dropping Windows Embedded for Android?: "[image]ASUS may have already tossed Windows Embedded Compact 7 aside for the Eee Pad EP101TC in favor of Android if a visit to the company proves true. The device doesn't have more details, including whether it would use Android 3.0, but it would still have its 10-inch display and possibly the 10-hour battery life. A formal debut would take place at CES in January but would be preceded by carriers getting subsidized versions in December.... "
