A Weird Face, Neck and Chin Exerciser

When I came across this interesting device, I found it funny and decided to share it here. This device has not got a name yet. The inventor called it a face, neck and chin exerciser.

As we age, facial muscles weaken and skin begins to sag. In order to reverse the process, according to the inventor, we need to work out those muscles, just like we work out in the gym for our biceps, chests and thighs. Day to day of talking and laughing is not enough to promote facial fitness. This so called face isolation exercise will work out the face, chin and neck. Once the device is placed in the mouth, with proper distance between the top and bottom teeth, the user then can exercise his face, neck and chin. (more…)

I am sure you have been eating some of them, just not aware that they are already great protein laden food. So, what you should do is to eat more. In general, animal proteins (from milk, eggs and meats) are considered highly digestible and higher quality than plant sources of protein. Some time ago, I wrote an article on 6 Reasons You May Feel Dizzy During Exercise.  I got an e-mail from reader asking about her dizziness in Yoga class.  She just started learning Yoga.  Whenever she gets up from lying positioning to a vertical position, she suddenly feels dizzy.

This dizziness is also called “head rush” (Orthostatic Hypotension) which is pretty normal for many whenever they stand up too fast.  It is a sudden moment of low blood pressure. (more…)

Why You Should Start Eating Carrot Too?

Carrot is a root vegetable and the edible part grows underground.  It contains about 87% water.  Carrots grow in many different colors including orange, purple, red and even white. The most common color is orange which we find in our local supermarkets.

Carrot contains huge amount of vitamin A in the form of beta carotene. Beta carotene is converted into Vitamin A in our body.  It is also an anti-oxidant which slow down aging process.  Many studies have also shown that beta-carotene consumption reduce the risk of having lung cancer, colon cancer and breast cancer.
