So today I found out what baby will be. I was not planning on finding out till baby was born but sometimes things don't work out as planned. I found out with all the others so this time I wanted that surprise but questioned if I would be able to wait. Plus I wanted a baby girl and if it was not another princess I did not want to be upset. Don't get me wrong I would love a little boy too. I have the 3 best ones in the world all ready and a partner closer in age for Smiley was a nice hope. But I wanted a sister for Faith. That way each sibling would have at least a brother and a sister. Plus I gotta admit I love the bows and dresses.
I have seen more ultrasounds with this baby than any other. A blessing. But many times I have to go to ultrasounds because they can't find the heartbeat. Today was the same situation. As a matter of fact I have never heard the heartbeat of this one I have seen it many times but never heard it. It was counted for me once very early at 180 something. Which was normal for the week. On the high side but normal. Today after a few cups of morning coffee they again could not the heartbeat. So ultrasound it is.
Baby was fine just moving all over the place. We saw the position of baby and the it moved completely, flipped around. We were watching baby with ultrasound and saw the heartbeat so tried to catch it with the doppler. She sorta did it was jumping up and down as baby kept moving. The range was 144-166. But we could never hold it long enough to hear it or get a god reading.
The doctor slipped sounds like a...
Ugh I did not really want to know. But she said what I though anyways. The baby flipped around again and the bottom with legs open was front on screen. Doctor knew what it was. I had a hard time. I think I saw the right parts. But the doctor smiled. She knew. I know what she knows too.
I love the big gender reveal parties. However I do not have time for one right now. We are heading into March Madness our birthday season. So I am trying to plan many parties and quickly running out of time as it is. But I though I would have a quick blog land one with you.
So what do you think it is?????
The facts:
I have 3 boys number 1, 2 and 3. Number 4 was a girl. This is number 5.
My husband has 2 brothers. I have 1 but people say it is the fathers that count.
The heart beat under 10 weeks was in the 180's.
At 18 weeks it is jumping from 144 to 166
I look bigger all over. But no bump. Never lost the weight from last time either.
I was 32 when I conceived in October and will be 33 when I deliver in July.
Gender charts were NOT always right before.
And I saw this new prediction method it makes me laugh but you go by the last babies hairline and Faiths is straight.
Okay this one cracked me up.
I wish this cake was really here so I could eat it. I wish you were it so I could share it with you.
Will it be pink or blue?
Take a quick peek.
Lets have a slice of PINK! Because it is so sweet.
Yes! It is another GIRL!!
Faith will have a sister! Everyone will have a brother and a sister. I love these. Trust me I have been running through the cuteist sister outfits.
I got my wish and I am happy.
Now to think of names?

Surprising the kids
Have I got a surprise for my kids. Are they ever lucky. I am excited too. Want a clue?

They saw me making that puzzle and my 2 year old knew it was Mickey Mouse right away. They thought I was making it for my puzzle app on the kindel though. They don't know it is for them. No we are not going to Disneyland. I wish that was the surprise but it is not this time. We are going too....

Disney on Ice. Mickey and Minnie's Magical Journey. Smiley loves Mickey mouse club house. He loves Jake and the never land pirates too. And my oldest also like Jake and the never land pirate but have been on a big peter pan kick lately. We have watched the movie Hook countless times. So it will be great for all of them.

I have not told them yet. I don't know if I want it to be a Valentines day present or just surprise them that afternoon as we pile in the car and end at Hershey Park to see Disney. The show is not till April, I doubt I can keep the secret that long.
We will see. And pray all are well that day!!!

Fun in the warm January days
We have been having such a warm winter. I can not remember one like this. Since we got a decent snow storm in October I thought this is going to be one tough winter. But it hasn't. In fact last week was in the 60's. It did snow a little bit on Saturday and Sunday but it had been to warm to stick and melted as quick as it came down. Just making a mess really. This week is warm again. And we have been taking advantage of it.
The boys got scooters and light up wheels for Christmas. Evan picked them out for his brothers on black Friday and we really did not think about the cold winter weather then. But it has not been an issue when it reaches in the 60's some days. They grab them and head outside without coats.

Faith loves being outside. She really enjoys watching the boys zoom around her.

But they think she would prefer it to be zooming too.

Smiley has a cars scooter. He loves cars. He used to just call it "wace carrsz" but now he is understaning the race cars name is lightning mcqueen. So it is now "wace carrsz mcqueen". I love 2. He really is to little for the scooter. He just walks it around or stand and I push. But before we know it he will be zooming away.
He took a hard fall to the face trying though. Left the poor baby with a big scrape across his jaw. After that he was done scootering and thought running would be just fine.

It is nice to have a warm winter. It is nice to not be stuck inside everyday. But I do not think we are out of winter yet. A big snow or two could be on its way. I wont worry about it but enjoy what we have now.

I really like it
This afternoon I went to pick up my new car!!

It drives so nice. It is so easy to drive. I even took the long way home. My oldest asked if I did because I was using the heated seats. No not on this day, it is in the high 50's.

I am really happy with it. Although it has a lot of controls I just don't understand.

And those tinted windows are really really dark. The dealer made me sign a paper saying I know they are not legal. They are darker than I thought. I adjusted the review view mirror think it was pointing of the ceiling but no, it was pointing out the window, on a sunny day, in the bright afternoon. It was dark in the car one kid fell asleep.

I am glad I got it because I really like it.

here comes the choo choo train
I was feeding Faith and juggling a few other things as well. One of the moments when I was not feeding her I heard Smiley say here comes the choo choo train.

I turned around and he had grabbed her yogurt and started to feed her.
Yum good baby sister.

She was happy he was feeding her rather than eat the beans. She does not like beans or corn if the are not mushy in baby food jars. But I guess he decided he likes the yogurt too.

Because he got out another spoon and starting eating it too, double fisting it.

My new car
If you have been reading my blog for a little while you know 2 things about me.
1. I wanted and have lots of children
2. I need a new car that can fit everyone I always liked red Suburbans but I never like the payments and my husband did not want another gas guzzling car.
So don't you think I was floored today when we went out and got me a....SUBURBAN!!

Yes. That is right in fact I am still in shock. Twice today once for getting it and twice when I signed my name to the loan. I now unfortunately have car payments again. And will till it is replaced by my yet to be born baby's school payments. So lets not think about that. I will try to pay it off early. And really when I am filling up that 33 gallon tank I think I will cry more over that weekly payment than the monthly one.
Lets just focus on I got a fully loaded car that is big enough for my family plus one more! I was hoping for the 9 passenger but oh well, like I said I never really expected to get this anyways.
We had briefly started too look at vans. The larger multi passenger full size vans. But even though we found a good local deal we did not get it. It was a V8, in fact all the full size vans are V8's and Jay really wanted to stay away from that. He did not want another big gas guzzler. We have a V10 so I absolutly understand. I did not arguee. I thought that is okay. We have time to look. We can find a mini van with a V6. They right car will come along. But I prayed that night. I asked God to help us find the right car. To buy one under his guidance.
We got an auto trader and there was nothing in there I liked or wanted. Well at least not for the price. I glanced through it another time during the week but did nothing else.
A friend told me about a deal on a tan Suburban. I listened, smiled, and left it at that showing no interest. After all why like the car when it was not what we were going to get. It was not at all what Jay wanted and it was not the maroon red that I really liked. Plus Suburbans=expensive. How could I afford it. And even though we looked a little we were not committed or ready to buy.
I mulled it over in my mind for a few days. Then causally yesterday I mentioned it. Jay said I am interested sounds good. What? This had all the boxes checked that you don't want. I still kinda shrugged it off. I laughed haha yea right I going to actual entertain the thought I might get this. So I continued with the daily activities. But curiosity got to me. I called the bank. I ran over all sorts of loans with the lender. I was not impressed with the interest rates. I have bought and paid off early, 2 cars with them I thought they would have something snazzy to offer something that would make me feel like we must jump at this. But they did not so I left it at that and went on with the day.
The kids came home and I took them swimming and wouldn't you know it we parked next to a blue suburban. I told the boys mommy and daddy are thinking about looking at one of those. They got excited and started saying how cool it was. They are such cheerleaders. With their enthusiasm I thought why not look. I won't even apply for the loan we will just look. So when I came home I called at 8:30 at night and made an appointment for 9 am. I received the conformation at 6:30 am and I was going to see it.
Dressed in jeans I can't even button and a hoodie once Jay got home we went to see it. He liked it, my cold self liked the heated leather seats. It has so many extras. 3 different types of 4 wheel drive options that are all at a push of a button next to the memory positionable seats buttons under the gps. Not that I use 4 wheel drive often because I don't like the cold and can't drive in snow but its there. And no more cold for me with the remote start. But the best it has a.... cassette player!?! Okay I did not know they even put those in cars anymore. Do they still make cassettes? What till we have to explain what a cassette player and cassettes are to the boys. It is not going to stay and will be replaced with Sirius xm.
I liked it. But I was not in love. Not even with the huge amount of space and 3 rows of leather . But the stroller storage was growing on me. Jay said lets go ahead and do it. And with a smile we were off to the bank. At the bank they gave me the snazzy offer I was looking for. They asked me what do I want to pay for it a month and I gave them a low joking number. After playing with some numbers they gave me a monthly payment $100 dollars lower than that! How? A low interest rate and 5 year loan. Yahoo. I can afford it! Why because my credit score is good. Higher than I thought it was and something I had been working on. The yes that I wanted answer to buy this car was there. Now it is feeling good and I feel like God had his hand in it putting the pieces together for me better than I could have imagined. If only it was the red....
We signed all the papers this afternoon it is said and done it is ours. We both had different things to do today so when I went and paid for it I could not pick it up. The oldest in my entourage is still in a car seat. So it still will sit at the dealer till Monday.
I can't believe it I got my suburban.
